The last moonlight (Tech Demo)

Welcome to the early prototype demo of the last moonlight, a project developed by Bitnox.

In a world lost beneath an endless night, a lone warrior with a celestial form traverses a dangerous, unforgiving realm. Precision is everything here—a single wrong step or a mistimed jump into the abyss means starting your journey all over again.

About this Prototype

This release is a hands-on Tech Demo created to test the core mechanics and overall Game Feel. There is no complex UI or inventory yet just you, your reflexes, and the enemies patrolling the platforms.

You will be able to test the fluid movement mechanics (sprinting, jumping, and double-jumping) alongside a dynamic combat system. By using the Target Lock-On, your attacks will automatically orient toward the nearest enemy, allowing for snappy and responsive encounters with active knockback physics.

How to Play

Controlling the character is simple and direct:

  • Use A / D (or the Arrow Keys) to move, and hold Shift while moving to sprint.
  • Press Spacebar to jump, and press it again in mid-air to double-jump.
  • Click the Left Mouse Button to perform a basic attack.
  • Hold the Right Mouse Button to lock onto a nearby enemy and focus your strikes.
  • (Bonus) Enter the arrow sequence Up → Down → Left → Right to toggle Debug Fly Mode.

💬 Your Feedback Matters!

As this is an early prototype, I would love to hear your thoughts on how the movement and combat feel. Any feedback on control responsiveness or physics is greatly appreciated!
